Hybrid Contacts at Southwest Orlando Eye Care
Our optometrist, Dr. Nowell, here at Southwest Orlando Eye Care, can help you see better with hybrid contact lenses. Hybrid contact lenses offer the visual clarity of hard contacts with the comfort of soft contacts. This is because the center of the lens is constructed of the same rigid material that is used to create hard contact lenses, and the outer section is manufactured from soft contact lens material.
Conditions Treated with Hybrid Fit Contacts in Orlando, FL
If you are looking for contacts in Orlando, FL for your irregularly shaped cornea, hybrid fit contacts may be right for you. Hybrid contacts are designed for individuals who have presbyopia, astigmatism or keratoconus. They can even help people with nearsightedness and farsightedness who want contacts that offer better visual clarity than can be provided with soft contacts.
Contact Lens Exams and Fittings at our Orlando Optometry Clinic
Our Orlando optometrist, Dr. Norwell, can exam your eyes and determine if hybrid contacts would benefit your hard-to-fit eyes. During your exam, our optometrist will test your visual acuity, measure your cornea and any abnormal curvatures. To ensure you get the right fit, a sample pair of lenses may be tested in your eyes. Once the fit is determined, our optometrist will write a prescription for your lenses and order them. If you would like glasses along with your contacts, just tell our eye doctor. We are currently offering 50 percent off on second pairs of glasses.
When your contacts arrive at our office, our eye doctor will schedule a second appointment to make sure the fit for your new lenses is correct and that the contacts provide you with the visual acuity you need.
