Jenni started her career in optometry in 2004 in Alaska. She has spent the majority of her career managing a practice there and loves working in optometry. Jenni can handle any of your insurance questions and is very familiar with how to get the most out of your benefit. She is an excellent resource for our patients and loves helping patients whenever she can. Her favorite part of working in optometry is getting to meet so many people.
Assistant Office Manager
Tahlia started her career in the optometry field in 2011. She has spent the last 8 years managing a busy practice here in Orlando. She approaches each day with passion and heart. Patient care is of upmost importance. You would be hard pressed to find her without a smile on her face. When she is away from the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, DIY crafts, going to the beach, and visiting the local theme parks.
Lead Optometric Technician
Jasmina became an Optometric Technician in 2013 and joined the Southwest Orlando Eye Care team when she moved to Orlando from Virginia in 2016. She is a Certified Refractive Technician and is known affectionately as Jaz by many of her patients. She loves helping patients pick out new frames and especially enjoys working with contact lens patients.
Lead Optometric Technician
Since she was a child, Kim has always had her sights on Optometry. Upon entering college she decided to pursue a degree in Health Sciences at the University of Central Florida. While completing her under graduate studies at UCF; she joined and became an honors member at the Pre-Optometry Association, went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic with a volunteer optometric group (VOSH), and gained both private and corporate Optometry experience. As an alumni, she plans to gain plenty more knowledge and experience here at Southwest Orlando Eye Care where she is a Certified Refractive Technician until she goes off to Optometry school to fulfill her dreams. When she's not completely immersed in Optometry she is a foodie and enjoys the culinary side of Orlando. From eyes to coffee, wine, food and music she is willing to hear you out and help in any way she can.
Nicolle is 2015 graduate of Valencia College and has a background in Medical Administration. Nicolle joined the SW Orlando Eye Care Family in 2015. She is a Certified Refractive Technician and thoroughly enjoys working with her patients. She is always excited to learn about the newest technology in optical and her goal is to learn as much as possible so that she can continue to offer patients the latest and greatest.
Janice has an extensive background in the healthcare industry. She values efficiency and patient convenience. Janice encourages an environment where patients come first. She is always willing to spend as much time with a patient as they need. She has been noted by patients as going above and beyond. Her professionalism and friendly personality is valued by patients of all ages. Janice enjoys spending time with family and friends when she is away from the office.
Optometric Technician and Contact Lens Assistant
Krystal was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. Go Noles! She started her career as an Optometric Technician in 2014. That same year she became manager of contact lenses. In 2017, she moved into Ophthalmology as an Opthalmic Assistant with a specialty in contact lenses where she focused on soft lenses, RGP, Hybird, and Scleral Fits. Krystal moved to the Orlando area with her family in April of 2019 for better autism resources for her daughter. She is passionate about autism acceptance and bringing awareness. When she is not at the office, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family at Disney.
Jessy joins our Southwest Orlando Eye Care team with over 20 years in the ophthalmology field. She is a new resident to Orlando, but not Florida. Jessy graduated from Hillsbourgh Community College with her A.S in opticianry and medical administration. She later achieved her certification as an optometric technician. Jessy is a firm believer that the eyes are the windows to the soul.

Vision Therapy Lead / Optometric Technician
Elizabeth joined the Southwest Orlando Eye Care team in October of 2019. She has over six years of experience in the optometry field and loves helping patients with glasses' selection. Her favorite part of the field is witnessing patients improve their vision and lifestyle with a new prescription. During her time off, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Vision Therapy Assistant
Shelly has over 20 years of special education experience. Her focus is on learning disorders and she has a true passion for Vision Therapy and the results students receive. She loves working with kids and knows that improving their vision allows them greater success when learning. She has been praised for her patience and excellent parent communication. Shelly works with Dr. K every step of the way to provide a customized vision therapy plan for each student.
William has been in the optical field since 2016. He loves finding patients the frames that match their personality and helping kids with their first pair of glasses. William has a passion for making sure everyone looks and sees their best. When he is not in the office,William enjoys going to Disney with his girlfriend, spending too much money on sneakers, playing video games and watching Basketball.
Genesis is an Orlando native that graduated in 2011 from ValenciaCollege with a degree in Medical Office Administration. She entered the world of optical in 2013 as an Optometric Technician. Since then she has also worked as an Apprentice Optician and for ophthalmology. Genesis strives to help people meet their vision needs by helping them find frames that suit their personality and make them feel comfortable. When she is not working, you will most likely find her crafting, at the movies or spending time with her family and children.
